Her birth date was March 29, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle Mendoza has been her name. Gerina Stevenson, the child of Mexican parents Rita Stevenson and Alan Stevenson. Her heritage is Mexican-American and is American in the nationality. Since she was a child she's been extremely interested in participating in sport. Gerina took up golf when she turned 15 years old. Gerina was a graduate of Goddard High School. When she was in high school, she took home at the New Mexico state golf tournament. As a volleyball player, she also competed in state competitions. She attended Texas's University of Texas, Texas, for the 2003 academic year. During her senior years she took home every single tournament she entered. During the undergraduate years, she was awarded as the conference's best player of year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic of the Year.
