She appeared in 2 episodes on Showtime's Weeds together with Mary Louise Parker. The most famous of her roles is her performance as Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox TV series Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender in Dawson's Creek. As a character on the Guiding Light soap production, she played Marina Cooper. This role was a winner of an award from Soap Opera Digest in 2003 for Outstanding newcomer. Between 2007 and 2008, Dollar was a character on Cindy Thomas on the ABC television series Women's Murder Club. Dollar played the role of Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show was never renewed.
