Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of fourteen. She was a kickboxer, boxer as well as wrestling, before making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on her triumph at Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought three times in a row. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. After that, she went to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 after signing as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta eleven saw Aspen slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta 16, she was able to rise into the Bantamweight division after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used the superior techniques she learned from wrestling to take on McGill. Aspen ended her fight via an KO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy by TKO. At Invicta FC21, she was the final fight with the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina through the ground and pound strategy which resulted in an TKO 2nd round win. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the opening round. She also received the reward for her performance on the evening. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up a back-and-forth encounter that ended with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters getting an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya fell in the third at UFC 7 on ESPN. As a last-minute replacement for her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She lost by unanimous decision.
